LCE is a multidisciplinary team
Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is an independent consulting firm, providing professional solutions and tools for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), eco-design, environmental communication and regulatory compliance to private companies and business associations.
LCE also participates in institutional projects with the European Commission, the United Nations Development/Environmental Programme and some national/regional agencies. In the last few years, LCE has been involved in several H2020, LIFE and service contract projects with the European Commission (EU PROJECTS).
LCE is an accredited member of the “POLIGHT Innovation Pole”, a consortium of innovative small medium enterprises geared towards developing sustainability and green technologies.
LCE is represented by Mr. Baldo in the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment and by Mrs Borla in the Technical Committee of the International EPD System.

After about ten years of collaboration, ZP joined the LCE Group in 2023 to improve the development of TEA platforms.

LCE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
Over the years, LCE has experienced a continuous evolution of sustainability topics and an extension of its scope. Sustainability has become increasingly complex and articulated, with a growing interest over its partners.
LCE has decided to set-up an internal Technical Committee composed by one of our board members and a group of experienced consultants, to coordinate the topics evolution and monitoring among our designated LCE experts. Our Technical Committee organization addresses studies, clarifications, updates and training on the topics of our interest that we share with all the potentially involved parties, internally and externally.
The spreading of technical and strategic information among LCE team and clients is one of LCE guarantees and defines the high quality of LCE’s outputs, based on the principle of widespread competences to support LCE team and then clients.
OUR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Quality is the key ingredient that LCE employs in its organisational strategy to maximise company efficiency and guarantee service quality.
LCE is committed to the ongoing promotion of quality throughout its company structure by implementing a management system pursuant to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, aimed at:
- defining and formalising all phases of a project’s “lifecycle”, accounting for proposals, outcome elaboration and follow-up management focused on customer satisfaction;
- adopting continuous training of the human resources employed;
- defining specific quality standards for a periodic review of the system;
- adopting a sustainable approach in all our operations in order to be consistent with the services offered to our Clients.
The LCE headquarters are located in Turin’s Environmental Park, a purpose-built Science and Technology for the Environment hub created by the City of Turin, Italy. It operates in accordance with environmental management system ISO 14001:2004.
