DESCRIPTION
Project’s aim
The RAPID DRY project aims to optimise the drying process of ceramic manufacturing, reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions while preserving product quality.
It does so by means of a chamber dryer that optimises currently available techniques as laid down in the Ceramic BREF (2007) in a very cost-effective way as to be easily accessible for the ceramic industry, and leading to higher energy saving then currently achievable.
The Rapid Dry project will also reduce the consumption of raw materials from national and foreign mines and quarries and increase the quantity of ceramic waste materials recycled.

HOW WE CONTRIBUTE
- Assessment of the environmental and socio-economic impact of the RAPID DRY slips and the RAPID DRYER
- Coordination of communication and dissemination activities
