DURUM WHEAT STORYTELLING DAYS – BARILLA
NEED
In 2014, Barilla decided to strengthen its employee’s engagement through an innovative path called “Storytelling Days”, a journey dedicated to the knowledge of the Group Products for employees and stakeholders. LCE supported the Group in developing the event’s visual storytelling strategy and materials.
RESPONSE
Barilla Storytelling Days were structured as aninteractive journey through all stages of the production process, described by Barilla people to Barilla people. A walkabout structure was developed, where people move from one subject to the next one; listening at quick and memorable pills to deepen their knowledge on Barilla’s way of doing business from field to fork.
LCE supported Barilla’s speakers in defining and developing the content and graphic layout of all the event’s materials, such as posters, brochures, and leaflets.
OUTCOMES
Among 2014 and 2016, we created communication materials for three series of storytelling days:

- - 2015 Durum wheat Storytelling Days
- - 2014 Tomato Storytelling days
Hundreds of people attend the event every year.

Events took place at Pedrignano plant (Italy). All the materials produced for the events were made available to Barilla Employees worldwide through an internal online platform (share point)
