Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) represents the basis to understand the hotspots of a company’s value chain and to take action to reduce its impact, like MAMMUT Sports Group did. Recognizing that ropes represent 14% of its carbon footprint, the company has started several projects to reduce its impact. Among the various activities also the collaboration with Aquafil Group which, thanks to its regeneration process, is able to give the used ropes a new life transforming them into new items such as t-shirt.
